DTF TRANSFERS
What are DTF transfers?
DTF transfers are full-colour, ready-to-press heat transfers printed onto specialised film. They are ideal for detailed artwork, gradients, small text and both short and large runs.
Can I order transfers only?
Yes. We can supply ready-to-press transfers, individual logos, gang sheets and transfer printing by metre for apparel decorators, brands and trade customers.
Is there a minimum order?
DTF is suitable for small quantities and larger production runs. Minimum requirements may depend on the transfer format, artwork and total order value.
What fabrics can DTF be applied to?
DTF can be applied to many cotton, polyester and blended garments. Heat-sensitive, coated or waterproof fabrics may require testing.
How durable are DTF prints?
Correctly applied transfers are designed for regular wear and washing. Wash garments inside out, avoid bleach and do not iron directly over the print.
What artwork files are best?
AI, EPS, PDF and SVG are preferred. High-resolution transparent PNG files may also be suitable. We review artwork before production.
EMBROIDERY
What is embroidery digitising?
Digitising converts artwork into a stitch file that controls the embroidery machine. It is a production process, not simply a file conversion.
Can you embroider caps and workwear?
Yes. Embroidery is well suited to polos, jackets, caps, beanies, uniforms and many heavier garments.
What is a typical left-chest logo size?
Many left-chest logos are around 70–100 mm wide, depending on the design and garment.
Can very small text be embroidered?
Very small lettering may need to be enlarged or simplified. Fabric, stitch type and letter height all affect readability.
SCREEN PRINTING
When is screen printing the best option?
Screen printing is usually most cost-effective for medium and large runs using a limited number of solid colours.
Why are setup charges required?
Each print colour normally requires artwork separation, screen preparation and machine setup.
Can you match Pantone colours?
Pantone colour matching may be available. Final appearance can vary depending on ink type, garment colour and fabric.
Can photographs be screen printed?
Photographic effects are possible using halftones and separations, although DTF is often better for short runs and highly detailed full-colour artwork.
GENERAL
Can I supply my own garments?
BYO garments may be accepted after review. Fabric, construction and heat suitability need to be confirmed before production.
How long does production take?
Turnaround depends on quantity, garment availability, artwork approval and production method. Your estimated completion date will be confirmed with your quotation.
Do you deliver Australia wide?
Yes. Australia-wide shipping can be arranged. Freight depends on destination, carton size and order weight.
Can I combine different decoration methods?
Yes. A project can include multiple methods, such as left-chest embroidery with a full-back DTF print.
Do you check artwork before printing?
Yes. Artwork is reviewed before production. If adjustments are required, we will contact you before proceeding.
